Bowls Dress Code

IN ALL EG BOWLS DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS, COMPETITIONS SATURDAY LEAGUE

AND MIDWEEK LEAGUE THIS DRESS CODE SHALL BE APPLIED
 
SHOES:          

These may be white, brown, black or blue or predominantly these colours with piping of another colour.
         May be lace-up, pull-on, or sandal
         MAY NOT BE BACKLESS OR BEACH THONGS
Must be flat, smooth soles
May be ridged soles (ridges must not be deeper than 2mm-match stick)

STOCKINGS:
                         Ladies stockings shall flesh colour or light tan. 
                         Socks if worn, shall be white.

SHIRTS/BLOUSES: 
Shirts shall have conventional collars and be adequately buttoned. 
When wearing Club-approved coloured apparel each member of a side or team shall wear the same apparel.
Standard white or cream apparel rule shall apply in other cases.

MEN:  TROUSERS 

When wearing Club-approved coloured trousers each member of a side or team shall wear the same apparel.

                         Standard white or cream apparel rule shall apply in other cases. 

SHORTS SHALL NOT BE WORN when participating in District events.

SHORTS SHALL NOT BE WORN when participating in Regional or National Tournaments.

LADIES: SKIRTS, CULOTTES, CAPRI PANTS, TAILORED SLAX, WALKING-SHORTS
                         May be worn in club-approved colours, every member of side or team shall wear apparel of the same colour.
                         SHORTS shall be on the knee.
                         Standard white or cream apparel rule shall apply in other cases.

HEADWEAR: 
LADIES:           HATS with Club-approved hatband, CLUB-APPROVED CAPS OR PEAKS may be worn.
MEN:                HATS with Club-approved hatband or CLUB-APPROVED CAPS may be worn.
 

BLAZERS:     

                         Club-approved blazers may be worn.

WINDBREAKERS: 

                         Club-approved colours or white or cream

CARDIGANS/JUMPERS:   
                         Club-approved colours or white or cream.

DISTRICT COLOURS: 
DISTRICT-APPROVED APPAREL, WINDBREAKER, GOLF SHIRT, HATBAND, CAP OR PEAK AND BOWLS BAG MAY ONLY BE WORN OR USED WHEN REPRESENTING THE DISTRICT.                           

HOST CLUBS ARE TO APPLY THIS DRESS CODE TO ALL DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIPS, COMPETITIONS, SATURDAY LEAGUE AND MIDWEEK LEAGUE GAMES ALLOCATED TO THEIR CLUBS.
THE TECHNICAL OFFICIALS AND EXECUTIVE WILL APPLY THIS DRESS CODE TO THE SEMI-FINALS AND FINALS OF ALL DISTRICT EVENTS.
